Continuously improving, Jiefang Power's sales in the overseas market reached a record high!

In 2023, FAWDE grasped the growth opportunities in the overseas market and made a breakthrough in engine export sales. 

The company's engine export sales broke 30,000 units in January-November.

In the automotive engine market, the main focus is on Changchun, Qingdao, two bases, a strong foundation to expand the channel, joint host plant research on key regional markets, to carry out terminal promotion, policy pull, and service efficiency. As of November, the automotive engine exports 33,000 units, an increase of 105% year-on-year.

In the machine market, through strengthening strategic cooperation with Lingong and Xugong, taking the initiative to attack the peripheral market, and broadening the product configuration field, as of November, the export volume of machine products increased by 21.5% year-on-year. Among them, the export of units increased by 13% year-on-year, especially in the Philippines, Brazil, Thailand, and other markets with significant growth; the export of small installations increased by 47% year-on-year, and the export volume of the tractor segment increased by 38% year-on-year.

Precision plowing and continuous breakthrough

PLA Power's 7 overseas offices and 18 stations followed the market rhythm, seized the opportunities, plowed carefully and continued to promote market breakthroughs.

In the Chilean market of South America, the CA4DB1 engine with Tiger VR prototype completed 3CV certification, and the signed batch contract has now been executed. In mid-November, the Chilean delegation visited the Powertrain Division. Both sides had an in-depth exchange of policies and strategies, and in December, the dealer continued to place a batch order of 30 units.

The sales volume and share of FAWDE supporting FAWDE trucks are increasing in the South African market. Especially after JH6, equipped with an Aowei CA6DM3 engine, was listed in South Africa, it has the strength to compete with the world's first-tier truck brands. From January to November, JH6 exported 1,400 units in South Africa and realized terminal sales of 900 units, with year-on-year growth of 174% and 125%, respectively.

In the Vietnamese market, we made every effort to do a good job in introducing various European V registration and inspection work models, 2023 Vietnam registration, and inspection of a one-time pass rate of 100% into the Vietnamese market. Assist FAW Vietnam in and out of the company to set up Vietnam training spare parts service center, FAWDE Vietnam secondary agents, service stations and maintenance technicians of large customers to complete all the rotation training work, improve service skills and service reputation, to support the development of the Vietnamese market and sales promotion. The proportion of FAWDE power supporting FAWDE vehicles is expected to increase by 23% year-on-year in 2023.

Precision core service creates a brand reputation

During XCMG Brazil's "2023 Service Miles" activity in December, FAWDE's overseas service personnel went to users to solve their problems and escort their equipment. During the visit, they learned users' needs, supplemented the commonly used spare parts in the Brazilian market, ensured the market service's timeliness, and gained users' recognition.

In Mongolia, to better serve the users, the overseas personnel overcame all kinds of difficulties to improve the service network and developed 5 spare parts dealers and 2 secondary service networks in Ulaanbaatar.

Strengthening communication and highlighting the brand charm

PLA Power strengthened exchanges with overseas dealers and users, organized key dealers and big customers in Vietnam, Chile, and other regions to come into the division, and carried out cultural tour activities 3 times, which tightened the cooperation relationship.

In addition, FAWDE and FAWDE Overseas Marketing Department jointly exhibited at the 134th Autumn Canton Fair, where the J7 tractor with the highest export sales volume in the traction product line and the FAWDE CA6DM3 National Six engine were displayed, attracting buyers from all over the world. Meanwhile, we also communicated in-depth with some overseas customers, solved the after-sales service problems, and strengthened customers' confidence in cooperation.
