Since the beginning of this year, all overseas personnel of the Powertrain Division have taken "everything for winning" as their goal and have gone all out to run projects and expand markets. In the first half of the year, the overseas export sales of engines reached 38,000 units, of which 21,000 units were exported to the FAW market, an increase of more than 13% year-on-year.

Since the beginning of this year, the division has continued to accelerate the development of overseas service outlets, adding new outlets in Tanzania, Indonesia, and Peru, forming an overseas marketing and after-sales support system with 7 major overseas offices and a total of 16 outlets.

In Vietnam, the Overseas Marketing Department organized R&D, quality assurance and other related departments to work together to support Vietnam's registration and inspection work. In the first half of the year, the bench registration and inspection of 5 Euro IV diesel engines was completed, and the registration and inspection pass rate continued to remain at 100%, leading the registration and inspection pass rate of other domestic brands of 80%, winning the praise and trust of FAW Vietnam Import and Export Company, and improving Jiefang Power's reputation in the Vietnamese market.


As of June, Jiefang Power's orders for Jiefang vehicles in Vietnam increased by nearly 40% year-on-year, among which the 6DM2 equipped with JH6 tractors and the 6DLD equipped with Hanwei tractors were widely praised by the market.

In South Africa, Jiefang Power has won deep recognition from local users with its comprehensive advantages in products, services, and networks. Its sales in the first half of the year reached nearly 3,000 units, an increase of 86% year-on-year.


The stationed personnel also further focused on market demand and jointly released the new product plan of JH6 automatic transmission with 460 horsepower and 550 horsepower equipped with 6DM3 engine in March with FAW South Africa, further broadening the product series. At present, the 460 horsepower prototype has been prepared for road testing, and the 500 horsepower model is under intensive design.

Aiming at the gap of Jiefang Power in the light truck market in Peru, the staff of the South American office strengthened cooperation with Uruguayan dealers, cooperated with Jiefang Overseas to explain the advantages of Jiefang Power engine supporting complete vehicles to customers on the front line of the market, and used professional skills to help customers solve related technical and service problems. They successfully signed an order for 30 CA4DB1 engines, which were successfully delivered in June 2024.


At the same time, in view of the Peruvian heavy truck traction market, the staff of Jiefang Overseas successfully obtained an order for 16 JH6 prototypes equipped with Aowei 13L engines, achieving a breakthrough from zero.

In the Indonesian market, overseas personnel actively competed, integrated the overseas product line of Jiefang to understand the market further, launched a truck equipped with the Aowei CA6DL2 9L engine and promptly carried out market promotion and service work, which won user recognition. The sales volume from January to June exceeded 400 units.


At present, Jiefang Power has achieved good results in many fields, such as infrastructure projects, mineral development, and energy transportation in Indonesia. The total sales volume in the Indonesian market in the first half of the year reached 1,390 units, a year-on-year increase of 135%.
